Instructions for Authors

The Meteorological Journal accepts contributions written in English, Slovak and Czech. Contributions written in Slovak and Czech must be sent together with an English version of the title, abstract and English captions for figures and tables. Authors can send their contribution directly to the editor-in-chief of the journal at jaroslava.slavkova@shmu.sk or to the deputy editor-in-chief at maros.turna@shmu.sk. The Meteorological Journal does not provide a language correction service to authors. We recommend that all authors publishing in English have their contribution checked by a native speaker. Submitted contributions must not have been published by another publisher or be under review in another journal. Figures must be numbered as they appear in the text. Figures must be sent in one of the following graphic formats: TIFF, JPEG, or EPS. The minimum required image resolution is 500 dpi. Tables must be in editable form.
